Car Accident with insured person / How health plan covers!
In case of Car accidents the private Health insurance is not obligated zu cover! But they pay in most cases. Only the social security it is obligated to cover! Since 2007 the cover has been removed by the Superintends of Insurance and have to be compensated by the the Car liability!
IMPORTANT: Keep the receipts of all your spendings! your corporal sufferings have to be legalized by the Medical examiner.
In case you are the victim this is most important for the law suite!
If you are a foreigner who provoked the accident NOTE: YOU CAN NOT LEAVE THE ISLAND FOR 6 MONTH AND PRESENT YOURSELF PERIODICALLY AT THE PROSECUTORS OFFICE!
The local justice system will alway favor the insured person or the smaller vehicle (Motorcycle) against the bigger one!
NOTE: Public attacks or home violence will in no circumstance be covered by the local health plan and will be dealt at a penalty process!
